A New York landmark, reimagined in motion

Once a vital freight hub connecting rail and river, Terminal Warehouse is being transformed into a new workplace and cultural destination in West Chelsea. The redevelopment preserves its defining industrial character—including the monumental brick façade and iconic central tunnel—while introducing new spaces shaped by light, nature and connection.

While at VISUALHOUSE, I led the creative direction for two films and a supporting photography library that brought the building’s history and future vision to life.

The anthem film combined original footage with CGI, moving seamlessly between the existing architecture and the experience to come. A second, documentary-style film followed the architect through the surrounding neighborhood, using an on-camera interview to reveal the thinking behind the restoration and its relationship to history and place.

I led the narrative and visual direction from concept through final delivery, including story development, interview and shot planning, on-set art direction and post-production. Working closely with the client, architect, production team and CGI artists, I guided the integration of live action and digital imagery, as well as the edit, pacing and final visual treatment. I also directed the supporting photography to create a cohesive portrait of the building, its neighborhood and the people shaping its next chapter.
