Meet Me At The Bungalow
Bringing a little Montauk to Manhattan
In the summer of 2021, Brookfield Place transformed its waterfront plaza into The Bungalow, a seasonal escape inspired by the easygoing energy of a summer day in Montauk. Coming out of a year spent apart, the goal was to create more than a pop-up. The Bungalow offered an invitation to get outside, reconnect and enjoy summer in the city again.
A playful, transportive identity brought the experience to life across the waterfront plaza. Working with a copy partner, I developed the advertising campaign used to introduce and promote The Bungalow throughout the summer. I translated the existing brand concept and identity into a flexible campaign system spanning digital advertising and the on-site experience. My role included designing and animating digital ads, as well as creating the signage and environmental graphics that carried the campaign into the physical space.
The work helped connect the promotional campaign with the guest experience, creating a consistent visual journey from discovering The Bungalow online to arriving at the waterfront.
